Identification

Minor worker: head length 0.70mm, head width 0.71mm, scape length 0.66mm, Webers length 0.98mm (n=1). Head evenly rounded behind, with narrow vertex collar; mesonotal suture absent; propodeal spines short, upturned; face densely punctatorugose; clypeus coarsely rugose; mesosoma entirely reticulate rugose, shiny; gastral dorsum smooth and shiny; dorsal pilosity abundant, short, flexuous; color red.

Range

Costa Rica, Panama. Costa Rica: southern Pacific slope.

Natural History

Inhabits wet forest.
