Identification

Minor worker: Antenna with gradually enlarged, 5-segmented antennal club; clypeus with median keel; head rounded behind; face, mesosoma, and gaster largely smooth and shining; mesonotal suture weakly impressed; metanotal groove strongly impressed, posterior face perpendicular and meeting dorsal face of propodeum at right angle; scapes, face, mesosomal dorsum, and gaster covered with long flexuous setae; color red orange; HL 1.20, HW 1.03, SL 1.38, WL 1.62.

Costa Rica (San Vito).
