Scutum mixture of yellow and black pile infront of tegulae; scutellum yellow; pleura yellow and black mixed. | Face with mixed yellow and black pile. | Gastral terga 1 yellow laterally, 2 and 3 orange, and 4 through 6 with black pile. |
Identification- This species can be identified by the orange pile on its second and third gastral terga.
Geography- B. melanopygus is found in Southern British Columbia, Washington, Oregon, Idaho and Northern California.
