Identification

Species have four setae on anterior margin of labrum; elytra coarsely sculptured with protruding shiny tubercles at least in apical half.

Range

Holarctic with two species in North America, one along the Pacific coast and the other in the central Rocky Mountains.

Natural History

Members of this genus feed on snails, slugs and other foraged prey. Found in forested habitats.
